All samples were created with one instance of automat1.0, stepping through the original preset library, with no additional arpeggiator, effects, eq or mastering tools. Just pure automat and a drum machine.

02.09.08 (v. 1.01) : GUI cleanup. Added dc-blocker and limiter.
24.08.08 (v. 1.00) : Fixed a bug in the Chorus module. Does now work with Logic again.

I'm addicted to Automat! I love this synth... I find I'm doing whole songs with the thing! And when I need a sound, I'll go and open one, and start messing with an exisiting preset, or create a whole new one, and add it to the song I'm working on. I can't think of a single instrument I've owned that was so easy to program, and get new sounds out of!! It's also so cpu efficient... and seems to fit into what I'm doing...

This is a test build of Automat 1.0. Lots of features missing. Burns a lot of CPU cycles. Does not always do what it's supposed to do :-). Do not use in productive environment. Use at your own risk. Keep your old Automat component and patches.

Automat is the logical next step after Buzzer2. Take all the nice things from Buzzer2, add antialiased Oscilators, a new filter, a flexible modulation engine and a new GUI (which provides enough room for future extentions) and you've got a new toy to make even more serious noiZe.
